An ordained priest, Don Virginio Colmegna received his diploma in Theology in 1969, and has always been committed to helping disadvantaged youth.
President of the Association “Avvocati per Niente” and of the Centro Ambrosiano di Solidarietà, he previously worked at the Caritas Lombardia, and the Caritas Ambrosiana, of which he was director.
He was ecclesiastic assistant of the Workers Movements during the’80s, and during the same period he was also the parish priest of Sesto San Giovanni.
At the beginning of his ecclesiastic activity he was also an Assistant with FUCI. (Federation of Italian University Catholics).
